June 1, 2015
For anyone who doesn’t know, Vic Lincoln was our great friend and a member of the club for many years. He was instrumental in keeping the courts ship shape and made a great contribution to the club and to the board for a long time. Sadly he passed away in 2013, and the annual fun tournament, run by the club and Marie his widow and his daughters, is to honour him and raise money for the Helen Rollenson Cancer Charity.
We all still miss him very much.
Play starts at 11am (til 2pm) and afterwards there will be afternoon tea served in the Club and the French Open Final will be on the TV screen.
Hope you can all make it, everyone welcome, including juniors.
The cost is £3.50 which includes afternoon tea and a charitable donation.
There are prizes for the winners and best outfit (Red White and Blue, or Orange, depending what you have in your wardrobe!)
