Court Refurbishment Update Thursday 4th June

June 1, 2015

boundsgreenbtc

Following the court rejuvenation that was done in December last year, we need to get additional sand laid on the courts. This will be done this Thursday. Courts will not be available for use during the day. After the contractors have finished the work, we will be putting up new nets. If anyone is available and would like to help putting up the posts/nets, please come along at 4pm. The courts will be available for use for the social tennis which starts at 7:30pm.

Vic Lincoln Memorial Tournament Sunday 7th June

June 1, 2015

For anyone who doesn’t know, Vic Lincoln was our great friend and a member of the club for many years. He was instrumental in keeping the courts ship shape and made a great contribution to the club and to the board for a long time. Sadly he passed away in 2013, and the annual fun tournament, run by the club and Marie his widow and his daughters, is to honour him and raise money for the Helen Rollenson Cancer Charity.

We all still miss him very much.
